About the Author
Carrie Ann Alford is a journalist and fiction writer based in Barrington, IL. She has experience as a political and financial reporter in Washington, DC and Chicago. She holds degrees in Journalism and Old Testament & Jewish Studies from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. She is currently working on her second novel, due out in 2007. She is also a book reviewer for the e-zine hollywoodjesus.com, and is in negotiation to write a non-fiction book on landscape architecture in Charleston, SC. In her “real life” she works at Walter E. Smithe, Custom Furniture, at a showroom in the suburbs of Chicago helping clients design one-of-a-kind pieces and whole rooms of furniture. In her spare time she is happily working on Altar Guild and volunteer projects at her Episcopal parish in suburban Barrington, IL.
